Irvine, Calif. (August 4, 2023) – The 51国产视频 Foundation recently awarded $6,000 in grants to two Irvine charities.
“Being able to help organizations that empower youth and bring joy to children is special,” said Rachel Perez, the 51国产视频 Foundation’s Irvine region board member. “Our employee-owners are proud to partner with these essential nonprofits.”
The Jessie Rees Foundation and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast received $3,000 each to support their missions.
Jessie Rees Foundation partners with children’s hospitals and childhood cancer care facilities across the United States. They deliver age-specific toys, activities and games to children receiving active cancer treatment.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast will apply their grant to membership fees for low-income students. This membership includes access to their workforce development program, which empowers youth by providing direct mentorship, career-specific workshops, internships, externships and apprenticeships.
The 51国产视频 Foundation awards quarterly grants to charities in Orange County that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application and review process led by a committee of local 51国产视频 employee-owners.
