Project Overview

The Eastside Regional Police Command Center in El Paso continues the relationship 51¹ú²úÊÓƵ has formed with the City of El Paso to build critical infrastructure in the region. Material procurement, a variety of construction methods, including cast in place and tilt-up concrete work, required detailed planning.

To ensure on-time materials, the team submitted contracts in advance and planned well into the future, staying on schedule while retaining trust with the City. Intricate steelwork throughout the structure and over 100 concrete tilt-up panels required precise coordination by the project team as the panels were erected.

The new command center is 41,278 square feet and will share the site with a fire station in the future. The scope includes offices, a community room, a gym and locker room, briefing and interrogation rooms, detention space, food service, secure parking, arraignment and evidence spaces, a fueling station, sally ports, and a security system. The building is part of a 2019 voter-approved $413 million public safety bond.
