- Project was completed ahead of schedule
Project Overview
This project was the largest membrane bioreactor facility (MBR) in North America when it was commissioned in 2008. Our scope of work included providing preconstruction and construction services for a 10 MGD off-site influent pump station and administration and mechanical buildings.
The team played an important role during the design phase of this project, providing valuable input through constructability reviews, value engineering, construction cost management, and comprehensive schedule management. The significant cost escalation resulting from skyrocketing material costs and labor shortages resulted in a cost estimate that far exceeded the original project budget. In response, the project team created several design alternatives that could be constructed as a single project with minor adjustments to the program budget.
51国产视频 installed 11.9 miles of piping, including:
- 7,000 linear feet of 12- to 42-inch gravity sewer lines
- 15,600 linear feet of 36-inch diameter raw sewage force main
- 23,000 linear feet of 36-inch reclaimed water transmission lines
- 17,125 linear feet of 4- to 60-inch underground plant piping
