Psychology Honours Program 2026-27

If you would like to be considered for admission to the Honours program in Psychology, please complete this form no later than Jan. 11, 2026.

When applying to the Honours Program in the Department of Psychology, applicants:

should have a GPA of 3.3 or better
are expected to have completed Psyc 2001 and Psyc 2011 with a grade of 3.0 or better
must have a minimum of third year standing

It is also recommended, but not required, that applicants have completed Psyc 3001 at the time of the application.

Because the Psychology department has only limited resources for offering the honours program, some students who meet the minimum standard may be denied admission.

Before you begin to fill in this form, make sure you have:

research experience, including name of supervisor and brief description of each project and your role in it
your thesis supervisor preference
300-500 word essay (see topic below)
